Odessey Systems is Hiring a Night Auditor Near Sturbridge, MA

We are looking for individuals to join our team as Night Auditor.

The Hotel Night Audit position is the first point of contact to welcome guests in the evening for the hotel. The auditor is in charge of checking in the customer and providing them with directions to their room, as well as information about the available amenities offered at the hotel. The Auditor may also communicate with guests via phone, handling any problems with the guests’ hotel room.

Hotel Front Desk Night Auditor Duties and responsibilities

Hotel Front Desk Auditors use customer service and communication skills to provide the guest with an exceptional and accommodating hotel experience. Hotel Front Desk Clerks have the following responsibilities:

  • Checks customers in and out using the hotel computer programs, processes payments, makes key cards and provides guests with directions to their room
  • Inform customers of all on-site amenities and any relevant information that is needed to use them
  • Handle and resolve guest complaints
  • Communicate with guests to better understand their individual needs to provide them with the best service possible
  • Commands a professional appearance and demeanor for the hotel.
  • Perform the night audit by running reports

Hotel Front Desk Night Auditor skills and qualifications

  • Attention to detail: This is required for processing payments, guest registration and for the night auditor.
  • Previous experience handling payments at a cash register.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills are important to connect with the guest and adequately address their needs.
  • Customer service: Customer service skills are a requirement as a Hotel Front Desk Auditor. Front desk clerks work with guests when checking in, checking out and when guests request information from the front desk.
  • Problem-solving: Guests will often come to the Hotel Front Desk Auditor with problems. The ability to identify and overcome a problem can be useful in the Hotel Front Desk Audit role.

Hotel Front Desk Night Auditor education and training requirements
A high school diploma is a requirement as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk.

Ability to speak, understand and write English fluently is required for all front desk agents.

Hotel Front Desk Night Auditor experience requirements
On site training is available. Individuals with previous customer service experience with retail, restaurant or sales are encouraged to apply.
